Greg Utzig
Greg Utzig (M.Sc., P.Ag.) is a conservation ecologist and land use planning consultant based in Nelson, British Columbia. He has over 40 years experience in environmental impact assessment, watershed analysis, terrain and vegetation mapping, habitat inventory and modeling, and a wide range of activities related to forest management, biodiversity protection and climate change adaptation.
Greg has contributed to various reports concerning the environmental impacts of reservoirs on the Columbia/ Kootenay River system in BC and the potential for mitigating those impacts. He is a member of the Columbia Basin Regional Advisory Committee, the Upper Columbia Basin Environmental Collaborative, and has participated in the International Collaborative Modeling Workgroup.
