For the first time in a century, Spokane Falls will flow 24 hours per day, all year long.  On May 5th, 2009, Sierra Club and the Center for Environmental Law & Policy - partnering with the Univ. of Washington Berman Environmental Law Clinic - announced a settlement with Avista Corp. to restore water to the waterfalls at the heart of our community.  Please join at the Waterfalls to celebrate re-connecting the Spokane River.  Courtesy of Don Hamilton Studio, here are images from the waterfalls celebration - giving thanks and celebrating Spokane Falls.
